Hello, sailors! My name is Sebastien, a 37 year old adventurer from France who has been living in Australia for 11 years, and the last 9 years spent in Darwin, NT.
My love for the ocean knows no bounds, and I enjoy scuba diving, freediving, snorkeling, fishing, and sailing.
Last year, I took my passion for sailing to the next level by taking sailing classes on Pacer, Pico, and Hobbie, which was an unforgettable experience.
My dream is to continue learning the ropes of sailing from experienced sailors and one day set sail on my own boat to explore the world.
I am not looking for a paid position, i want to pay my fair share on your boat.
I am actually in Vietnam travelling south after spending 5 months in Indonesia, mainly in North Sulawesi where I sailed on a catamaran(as a crew) for almost 2 months. What an unforgettable experience.
Now, I am actively searching for a boat that will be sailing from south east Asia region or any other countries(open to any travel suggestions, no time limit). I would be thrilled to join your adventure.
While I am still new to sailing, I am eager to learn and have some experience sailing in France as a teenager.
In exchange for sharing your knowledge, I would be happy to help with any tasks on board, including cooking(chef by trade), cleaning, night watch, helping to get the boat ready before sailing out and more.
