With over 14 years of experience in the South African Navy working on both a submarine and a warship as well as a codecasa 65m, I have developed a strong background in culinary arts and catering, and I am confident that my skills and experience would make me a valuable addition to your team.
As a chef in the Maritime industry, I have gained extensive experience in preparing meals for large groups of people, often with limited resources and in challenging conditions. I have developed a range of techniques and strategies to ensure that my meals are not only delicious but also timely and well-organized, even in confined spaces or with limited equipment. I specialize in seafood dishes and poultry, but I am also comfortable working with a wide range of ingredients and cuisines.
In addition to my culinary experience, I have a wide range of skills that I believe would make me an asset to your team. I have a great sense of initiative and can make a plan when there is no plan. I am also proficient in carpentry, plumbing, and painting, which could be useful in a variety of situations onboard. My hobbies include sailing, cycling, and scuba diving, which have taught me to be adaptable and to work well under pressure.
I am particularly drawn to the super yacht industry because it presents an opportunity to combine my love of cooking with my passion for travel and adventure.
