Friendly and motivated couple looking for sailing opportunities on the Atlantic
Hello, we are Nelio and Josefine, two experienced adventurers from Germany who are interested in finding a boat that sails from Spain/Portugal to the Canary Islands and in best case to Cap Verde and then across the Atlantic Ocean to the Caribbean/Central/South America.
We like travelling in a sustainable way thats why we usually go by bicycle or hitchhike to get to our travel destinations. By looking for a way to get over the Atlantic Ocean without taking a plane, we came across the idea to hop on a sailboat. We know how to handle hard work, we are fast learners and we are highly motivated in getting to know new things.
When being with us on a sailboat, we can offer friendly, funny and open-minded, but also considerate company. We cook and we know how to stay organised as well as we know how to clean. Nelio has already worked as a paramedic before he started his medical studies and knows more than first-aid. Josefine works as a language teacher and can support learning/improving German, French and English.
In our free time we do multipitch climbing, alpinism, highlining and we surf. In general we like being outside and discovering the nature by experiencing it. That's what we also expect from sailing on a boat. Being on the sea with nothing around us, seems like an incredible imagination to us. Sharing this time with nice company and getting to know new people on this way, makes this experience sound even more interesting!
