Looking for a fun adventurous boat to sail. Kind happy people we are. Easy going and learn fast.

Hello. Eric here. So I have worn many hats in my life. I have sailed on an educational Sailboat called the Clearwater raising a sail with 40 kiddos as a volunteer teacher, deckhand, and cook. I wouldn’t say I got tons of experience learning the sailing as I had multiple children on board to teach and watch over as the main crew kept after most of the sailing aspect of the boat. Did help docking and undocking. Wrapping up the sails. I cooked as well for the dozen live aboard crew members as well. Always looking for adventure in new ways of life. Very interested in stories and skills to learn and share my own with interesting folks. I have been an herbalist for over a decade now. During covid I quit my teaching job as an elementary teacher to pursue building out a skoolie which my partner and I currently travel, teach, and live in. Here in the southwestern US. I have been into wildcraft foraging plants for eating and making medicines for a decade now. I enjoy making traditional plant medicines such as teas, tinctures, and salves for us and selling in markets and festivals across the southwestern us. I also teach through plant walks and workshops. Chainsaw carving is also something I do to keep busy in the woods and keep some gas in the tank for the medicinebus to keep on its travels. I maintain my my own vehicles. Mechanically inclined.

Liz my partner is an amazing artist that enjoys making art from natural materials. Wood burning into wood, painting, watercolors, making paint from wild plants and rocks. She also carves her own stamps for print making. Enjoys reading, playing cards, and learning different art forms. Oh my gosh and makes the most healthy delicious food. Especially her sweet potato chocolate cakes and healthy baked goods. She loves baking in the Dutch oven over fire. So good. She has worked as a burista and camp with kids. She is very passionate in new adventures. A soft spoken kind and generous person. Very calm natured and likes to engage with people through learning and doing creative things. She grew up in Ojai California. Spent many many days painting at the beach. She loves the ocean very much and wishes to embark on a voyage across her.

We spend a majority of our time in national forest lands and deserts for weeks at a time making art and wildcrafting and identifying plants. We do well in environments outside of Babylon. We find peace is quietude. Our biggest rule is watching the sunsets and sunrise together everyday. We keep ourselves entertained very well and our travelling comrades that join in on the caravan from time to time. Cooking good food spreads together with folks is what makes us happiest. We live to cook. Curries, stews, vegetarian or meat dishes. Not picky with food. Just like to keep it as organic as possible and made from scratch.

We are achin for a new adventure. We learn fast, good helping hands that share the duties of living a fair communal life. Dream of getting on the water. Learning all the in and outs of rigging, navigation, setting up and down sails. Seeing new cultures. Harvesting some wild plants in different areas we land.
Fishing. Spear fishing. (I have spear fishing experience in Baja). Currently in Monterrey California but can meet anywhere in the US and possibly elsewhere by plane. Our time is very open. we can supply the boat with food and plant medicines for the voyage. We know we would like to go for a while as long as the company is good, respectful, fair, and most importantly. Good communicators!, This is long so gonna end now with. We love life. Respect it. Cherish it. Want the most out of it in joyful fresh experiences in the time of Now. Much Love.
