Offer professional crew as nanny, chef, deckhand from march 2025 (+/- 1 month) open end, also longterm possible
Hello lovely Sailing Community,
I´m Jessie, 26 years old, originally from Germany, living nomadic since 1.5 years (Austria, Norway, BC Canada in the last year) and I totally felt in love with sailing.
I´m looking for a boat, that needs additional crew/help from next spring on - short-term or long-term possible.
I have my Basic Cruise Sailing Certificate and crewed a 29ft sailboat on British Columbias Westcoast for a whole month this year.
After living in a campervan for 5 years, my next dream of a home is a own boat, so I can also invite crew and share my passion. Therefore I m looking for a paid position on a boat, all the money will be saved for my own boat plans, to gain more experience and milage and also to enjoy a great time together with mindful people on the ocean and exploring.
Since eighth years I have worked on/off self-employed as a guide with kids teaching several sports (skiing, MTB, Kanu, gymnastics, yoga). A family could be one great option, as I love to bring my mindful, enthusiastic and supporting charisma to kids and spent time with them.
I also worked as a private chef for a family and cooked on a boot before.
I m not seasick and familiar with tasks to help on deck.
I have a lot of energy and endurance. I live a healthy and mindful lifestyle. Next to my interest for sport, I m also creative, painting and writing a book currently. I speak German and English, Basics in french and spanish (would like to improve more)
I have great interest in the island of the south pacific, the sailing area of the Indian ocean, Patagonia and arctic regions. But I m open for any location.
