Chef by trade looking to cook aboard, or continue working on boats in a deck-hand esque role
My names Brodie, I'm a career chef since the age of 16, now on the lookout to explore the world via boat whilst plying my trade! Have worked in a large variety of kitchens from neighbourhood bistros to catering companies to Michelin star restaurants. Love everything to do with boats, adept at driving RIBs and small outboard dinghies, slowly but surely learning more and more whilst living in remote Scotland where our only access to civilization is by boat!
Currently enrolled on an NQ Aquaculture Marine and Maritime Skills Level 5 course, where I have recieved the following certifications:
MCA STCW10
RYA Essential navigation and boat handling
RYA Level 2 Powerboat and VHF Radio
RYA VHF certification
As well as lots of knowledge and practice in knots, seamanship, small boat engineering and lots more.
