Cruising Bay of Islands & Hauraki Gulf, New Zealand
Just updating this ad, pre- Summer hols:
One or two crew slots available for a short cruise from Whangarei late Nov/early Dec to toodle our way round the Hauraki Gulf to Bay of Islands for a spell, then back. A week or so, each trip. We'll plan on a few coastal overnights at anchor, maybe Great Barrier Island as weather allows.
We're looking for 1 or 2 crew who are game to muck in with trip prep & provisioning, sailing (obviously), cooking, etc. No prior sailing experience necessary, but should be can-do and comfortable around boats. Your own cabin, and your choice of tucker!
We ask for a contribution of about NZ$40 (US$25) per day towards your own F&B - less if you're TT. You’d also be expected to cover any extra costs ashore, eg the odd visit to pub or restaurant. All other boat costs are for our account, including fuel, marina fees, etc.
