CYCLADES in Aegean Sea
Hello! Please read the whole ad carefully:
I am Simon, a 39-year-old Belgian (who also speaks Italian, English, Spanish and Portuguese).
I own a beautiful 38-foot sailboat (Comet 375, Comar) named Pétole.
I plan to sail gently from Kilada to the Cyclades islands, giving free rein to my desires and following the wind. The navigation will take place from April 10 to June 20, 2025. In mid-June I will try to reach Athens to leave the boat there. We will avoid marinas as much as possible, to find the best anchorages that the fantastic Cyclades archipelago offers, one of the most beautiful playgrounds for yachting.
The idea is to be at least three people on the boat for the entire period.
I am looking for young and athletic crew members (I broke my collarbone a week ago and I will need to be able to count on lively, strong and flexible people!)
I am looking for crew members who, if they do not already have experience on a boat, are practical people, who like to tinker and learn quickly.
I'm looking for crew members to stay on board for a minimum of 15 days (because we need to give ourselves time to get to know each other, discover Petole and feel comfortable together).
I'm looking for crew members who don't mind spending some time ashore to prepare the boat before sailing and/or pamper her at the end of the cruise.
I'm looking for crew members who like fish, as I go hunting every day and we eat fish quite often.
I'm looking for crew members who love spearfishing... there I've got a crush!
That's it! Personally, I'm a very social and easy-going person, enthusiastic and festive (what I love most in the world is dancing on Petole's bridge!). I'm open-minded and very hands-on. I'm a musician and a music lover, and I'm dedicated to adventures linked to the sea (diving, spearfishing, kitesurfing...).
Pétole has two double cabins and a saloon with two berths. The idea is for the crew to rotate between the different berths, to enjoy a variety of experiences! I know my boat very well now, as I do a lot of maintenance on it every year, and it's a safe and comfortable boat.
As far as expenses on board are concerned, we share everything, all together. Provisioning, fuel, navigation tax, nights in port... We also share the cost of any breakage or loss of equipment. Also, in order to keep Pétole in good condition and guarantee the maintenance of all the boat's systems, I'm asking for a daily contribution. It's a free price so this point isn't exclusive (and for those who ask themselves too much about it, I can tell that 15euro/day is a usual contribution).
Don't hesitate to write to me if you have any questions.
Looking forward to meeting you!
Fair winds !
Simon
