Delivery Crew - Temporary / Seasonal - $DOE - Netherlands Antilles
Looking for a 3rd hand on catamaran delivery from the Bonaire to the USVI, departing 'right after' Christmas at the first solid window. A US PASSPORT is mandatory. Some verifiable SAILING experience is required, and offshore experience strongly preferred. You must be comfortable standing a solo watch, and experience on night watch is a big plus. Position is best suited for someone newly credentialed, or an experienced amateur. Personality and demeanor are often more important than experience, so please no "high-intensity" thrill-seekers or rockstars. Need calm, collected, intelligent crew able to listen carefully and follow directions.
She’s a 42’ catamaran built in 2019, well-equipped for offshore passages with the appropriate safety equipment. All crew/work responsibilities shared. You will have a private bunk & head. We’ll run on a non-stop, rotating watch schedule. No smoking, vaping, or alcohol while underway. You can expect the time underway to be 5 to 6 days. Boat pays for provisions. Pay depends on experience. Travel might be covered, depending on your location.
