Pacific crossing (Chile to French Polynesia) and inter islands visits
After Antarctica and the Patagonian canals, the next trip is to cross the Pacific Ocean and stay for several months in the French Polynesia; on the way we will visit the Juan Fernandez Is; (Robinson Crusoe), the Easter I. and possibly Pitcairn (weather depending).
Arrival at the Gambiers Is. before the end of April.
Then we will start visits on the spot: Gambiers, Society Is. (including Tahiti), Tuamotu and Marquises for a duration of 4,5 months.
Up to now, the crew is potentially completed for the crossing, but you can indicate your interest in case of a withdrawal.
For the inter islands cruising I am presently building an indicative time table (subject to); I will post it asap, but the idea is to have 1 or 2 competent crew on board all the time, based on the presence of each crew for 1 to 2 months.
At this stage I would like to receive expressions of interest from the candidates with an indication of the possible period for them.
Please take into account that your trip to/from the boat may include inter-island flights.
BalthazaR has a good reputation for a friendly ambiance on board with very good cooking.
The participation to the on-board costs is 30 €/day.
