About the Opportunity
The stunning Sailing Catamaran SEVEN is seeking an enthusiastic, adventurous couple to join as crew on an extraordinary journey across the Pacific. This is a rare opportunity to gain significant sea miles, elevate your yachting skills, and experience life aboard a luxury catamaran. While prior charter yacht experience is a plus, a passion for sailing and an adventurous spirit are what count most.
Itinerary
Late February 2025: Join SEVEN in the Caribbean to prepare for an exciting Pacific crossing.
March 2025: Set sail through the Panama Canal, continuing across the Pacific to the breathtaking islands of French Polynesia.
June to September 2025: SEVEN will be based in French Polynesia for the summer of 2026, with further explorations planned.
From April 2026, SEVEN will have sailed to the waters of Tonga & Fiji to stay for the Summer and most likely, New Zealand for the winter 2026/2027
About the Owners
Seasoned sailors in their mid-forties with two adventurous pre-teens, have already completed the journey from the Mediterranean to New Zealand over 2.5 years on their Lagoon 42. They’re passionate about sailing and look forward to sharing this new chapter with a couple who craves adventure and is ready to dive into the yachting lifestyle. Throughout the journey, family and friends will occasionally join onboard, making for an even more enriching “charter” experience.
Crew Responsibilities
• Deckhand: Partner with the owner (captain himself), in all aspects of sailing, maneuvering, and deck upkeep, as well as piloting the dinghy. Light maintenance skills would be a welcome bonus.
• Stewardess: Support owners wife in maintaining a tidy and welcoming interior and with meal preparation.
Long-Term Care of SEVEN
The owners will spend 4 to 6 months per year onboard. During their time away, the crew will take full responsibility for the yacht’s upkeep and maintenance, ensuring that SEVEN remains in top condition year-round.
