Slowly sailing in search of the perfect wave and good company

Hello adventurous souls! Are you dreaming of sailing the open seas, exploring coastal towns, and chasing waves? I'm looking for a companion to share this incredible journey with me.

---About Me and the Adventure---
I'm an experienced sailor with a passion for the ocean and a 37ft Southerly 115 Mk 1 named "Simplicity". For the past six years, I've been living aboard, sailing over 3000nm from Greece through the Mediterranean and to the Atlantic coast.
Now, I'm ready for the next chapter: a voyage along the Spanish and Portuguese coasts, followed by an Atlantic crossing. This adventure is about sharing experiences, learning together, finding surf and enjoying the journey.

---The Plan---
Current Location: Northern Spain marina (with an excellent right-hander off the harbor wall)
Route: Starting in March 2025, Day sailing along Spanish and Portuguese coasts, stopping at surf spots.
Next Stops: Madeira, Canaries, Cape Verde
Atlantic Crossing: Aiming for the Caribbean around December 2025, only those who have sailed some of the previous legs will be considered for the crossing. I'd rather do it solo than with the wrong crew.
Pace: Leisurely, allowing time to explore towns and prepare the boat

---What I'm Looking For---
I'm open to all interested parties, but I'm particularly hoping to connect with people share my love for adventure and the sea. Whether you're an experienced sailor or a complete novice eager to learn, what matters most is your spirit of adventure and enthusiasm for the journey.

While I'm open to the possibility of a deeper connection developing naturally, there's absolutely no expectation of finding a romantic partner. The primary goal is to share this amazing experience with like-minded individuals and hopefully create some lasting friendships

--- Onboard Life ---
Accommodation: Private cabin with two bunks
Skills: No specific sailing skills required - I'm happy to teach!
Contribution: Assistance with two-person maintenance tasks and watches appreciated
Costs: I cover boat expenses; you're responsible for travel and food
Diet: Plant-based cooking onboard (your choices are your own when ashore)

---Join the Adventure---
If you're looking for an extraordinary sailing adventure whether it be to build friendships, learn to sail or simply just experience a different way of life - I'd love to hear from you.
