Recreation, Voluntary, Friendship

Marine journalist has assignment to examine water quality conditions on the East Coast of the USA. Will investigate with small boat or kayak. Itinerary will vary. Tasks involve include lookout, helping out with launches, and anchoring. This is a professional endeavor so don't expect to find the party life like that of reality TV shows. And of course, this postion is not for someone looking for romance. You should find it educational and enjoyable. Safety and comfort are paramount. You should be in good health and have an easy going personality. Crew will be provided with nutritious meals and possibly a per diem monetary allowance. Previous experience with boats is a plus but not required. There will be no smoking on board and no alcoholic beverages. This is essential so all can have a pleasant time.
