Deckhand and Nanny from Cyprus to Israel then Greece & return.

We are a family of 5 with three gorgeous, active daughters aged 7 and twins 4.5 years. Our plan is to sail from Cyprus to Israel (picking up family) then Greece returning to Cyprus (Pathos to Ayia Napa).

We're looking for a male deckhand to help with sailing, mooring and heavy lifting.

We are also looking for a nanny / teacher to help look after our kids.

There is a cabin with a head available (probably for nanny) and a large forepeak (probably for the deckhand). But it is most lovely to sleep on the huge (60sqm) trampolines in summer.

The trip starts and ends in Cyprus. I can pick you up from airport.

  • Boat descriptionThe Sea Explorer is a large, very stable and well equipped vessel (23.99m x 11.76m) with plenty of space. She both sails and motors comfortably and fast (up to 15kn under sail and 13kn under motor) and has all the required safety equipment and more. Cruising at 10+ knots under sail (12+ knot winds) is typical. She is a self sufficient Ark with heaps of electricity from large solar arrays, large lithium battery banks, allowing mod cons including a water maker, solar hot water large freezer and fridge, washing machine, coffee maker, microwave and and induction cooktop. She now has even more solar, batteries and powerful (50kW) electric propulsion on the starboard side while retaining a powerful (93kW) diesel on the port side. Its an explorer expedition vessel with fairly basic crew cabins but comfortable living areas and lots of cushions chairs and beanbags. She is relatively new (2017) and has modern navigation equipment and fast internet from Starlink RV.
