Great skipper on a modest sailing catamaran
Had the opportunity to sail for four days with Tonto double handed from Limnos to Limni, Evia in late September 2022, over approximately 180 nm, in some rare upwind force 3 southerly winds. Boat is equipped with a full sail quiver for fast sailing and a full set of electronic aids. Some better rig tuning for better upwind performance and the sorting out of some electronic gremlins would make sailing Tonto a more exciting sailing experience. Boat lacks some luxurious amenities or space found on larger sailing catamarans but the skipper is a great cruising companion and a remarkable master craftsman that have made Tonto a rare fine example of this Catalac 9 class. Would repeat any time.
