Super novice looking for first experience
Hi there! My name is Karin, I have travelled in New Zealand for a year and recently arrived in Australia, currently in the area of Cairns.
I’m really keen to experience and learn a little bit (or a lot!) about sailing. I’d like to see what the reality is of living on a boat and gain some basic skills. If all goes well after that, I’d like to continue and be able to crew for a longer period of time.
Since I joined Crewbay, I have been out sailing once and would like to do more day trips to try an overnight sailing trip.
Little bit about me! Love travelling (obviously), outdoors, and I do a fair bit of wildlife photography. After spending the last decade working in corporate environments, I just want to live a little more, enjoy everyday adventures, and make the most of my ability to take time off from reality.
I’m mature with plenty of life experience and common sense, happy to help with any chores, and keep to learn new skills.
