Looking for a Deckhand, Mechanic/Deckhand or Fitter position
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Deckhand, Mechanic/Deckhand or Fitter. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people!
Being a young energetic person who has developed real life working skills employed as a Mechanical Fitter for over 5 years, worked as a vehicle detailer and in hospitality. Seeking new challenges in life I believe the Yachting industry is a great pathway for me to enter in order to further develop my life and working skills.
Working as a Vehicle detailer cleaning cars, boats and vans. Developing skills such as deep cleaning, washing and polishing.
Upon finishing school, I gained a job as an apprentice Mechanical Fitter and Machinist
I have gained many skills such as team work, safety, hand and power tools use, cutting and grinding, welding. Rigging, use of overhead cranes and developed radio skills. I am driven to work hard and join a well established crew. Also, I'm very accustomed to working within a close team, in high pressured and fast-paced work environments.
I've worked as a deckhand on a 45m M/Y as a dayworker for 2 days
I've also worked as an Engineer Assistant on a 75m M/Y for three weeks and lived onboard.
