Reference Letter for John Reeves My wife, son and I live aboard our 38 year old Island Packet 38 sailboat in the western Caribbean. When the time came to sail her back to the US to replace her chainplates, I asked John Reeves to assist with the 1200 nautical mile delivery. John owns and lives aboard his own sailboat in Southeast Asia and has tremendous experience having sailed thousands of bluewater miles. He also holds a RYA Yacht master Offshore certificate. He was the perfect candidate to assist with the delivery of Katemba from Colon, Panama to Key West, Florida. We enjoyed a 9 day voyage that went very smoothly, both weather-wise and onboard.
