Ocean lover looking for a novice crew position, friendship, cooking, learning the ropes.
I am new to Crewbay: I would love the opportunity to become a novice crew member. I am friendly, easy going, and hard working. I am happy to share the chores, and learn some new skills. I am also a capable cook.Meeting new individuals is something I'm excited about and travelling to new places! Though I am eager to learn, I do not have any experience operating a boat. Working as a stewardess on the TSS Fair was something I did in my twenties, quite a long time ago, from Western Samoa to New Zealand for 2 years. My hobbies include kayaking, most other water sports, and openwater diving with a PADI certification. I travelled alone around Egypt, Africa, Morocco, and Sri Lanka for five months last year. I left for remote Gove Peninsula, Nhulunbuy, once I got back home, where I took a job in the front office, staying until the wet season began. My intention is to embark on an ocean adventure.
Amazing Lady
Michelle sailed with Ostara from Townsville through Indonesia then up to Malaysia for the Raja Muda Selangor International Regatta then up to Phuket for the Kings Cup 2024. Total of seven months and 4.500 nm. Amazing cook, strong conscientious person willing to put in the hard yards without question, when required. Let her in the water and she is like a fish and will disappear for hours totally lost in the experience. Lance Denby Skipper Ostara
