Mechanical engineer looking for 2nd engineer or deckhand positions
Hi, I'm Angelique I'm a mechanical engineer looking for positions to expand my experience like 2nd Engineer, Deckhand, Watch-Keeper, Deck/Engineer, Shoreworker, etc.
I have lived aboard for the past 8 years on a 53ft motor boat (cheoy lee), mostly in Panamá City.
Since then I have gained quite a bit of experience on boats, sailing, as well as all kinds of repairing. I have a mechanical engineering diploma that gives me theoretical and hands on knowledge in this area. I have, as well, been working in the maritime industry for the past 2 yeas, in this time I worked in 2 mayor refits and independently as engineer assistant in the Panama sailing community. I also enjoy varnishing and other aesthetic work. I love sailing and traveling. I have crossed the carribean tree times: in a 80ft schooner, a 68ft ketch and a 50ft Jeanneau and sailed around Panamá, BVI, US VI and Puerto Rico.
I'm always happy to help with anything and everything, I'm very proactive and capable.

Hardworking team
I had Angelique as crew on my trimaran. She knows her way around boats and is proactive and capable. She has good mechanical skills and is able to work independently in many different kinds of projects. She run power cables, hard wired my inventer, and even fixed a seized windlass on top of various other projects. She is also proactive in everyday tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and organizing.Together with Anton, they make a trustworthy, reliable team. I would definitely recommend them
