Hi there! My name is Joe and I've recently gotten into sailing over the last few years. I started out taking classes on small boats, have done a handful of day trips on 8 meter monohulls from San Diego harbor, and in August of 2021 I lived on a 12 meter catamaran in La Paz, Mexico getting my ASA 101, 103, 104 and 114 certifications.
While certified I don't have the experience yet to skipper my own boat with confidence, but that's my next goal. I'm a laid back person with an optimist demeanor, good sense of humor, loads of travel stories, and can cook. This summer I plan to take a step away from my Data Analytics career to hone my sailing skills and travel a bit as well.
You won't find a better companion with a will to contribute to all aspects of sailing and living onboard. I'd love to video chat sometime to better get to know each other and see if we have a good fit!

Excellent Crew & Great Company
Joe sailed with us for two days late May. He is a bright, sociable guy with a sense of humor who picks things up fast. Very easy-going, great company and a great conversationalist. His basic skills are sound and he is very open to instruction. Highly recommended.
