Anyone looking for skipper/Competent Crew/mate etc in the Med Ionian Canaries etc
Hi I'm interested in finding a voluntary recreational position as anything from skipper, Competent Crew, 1st mate, general dogs body etc. I'm looking forward to meeting some new interesting people that share my passion for the sea.
I have been actively involved and passionate about boats for over 30 years. I have extensive experience with powerboats and have owned 8 boats to date ranging from offshore racing boats to small yachts, fly bridge motor cruisers and RIBs. I am a keen waterskier, wakeboarder and jetskier. I currently own a 32ft Aquador Power boat which I use in local waters and for offshore cruising.
I have around 15 years sailing experience and currently regularly skipper a 48ft Beneteau Oceanis for a local disabled sailing charity that I am involved in Sailing for the Disabled http://www.sftd-iom.com.
I have recent experience as a bareboat Skipper in Greece/Corfu/Kefalonia, Canaries, Croatia and the French Rivera on 40ft to 50ft yachts. I am also an ex marine engineer with a decent knowledge of all mechanical aspects of sailing boats, motor boats, marine engineering, inboards and outboards.
I am a personable, reliable, hugely active person that's not afraid to get my hands dirty and get stuck into whatever is required. I'm also not looking for a free holiday either as I am more than happy to pay my way and contribute towards all costs.
I am also a reasonable cook and absolutely fantastic at washing up :-)

Graham on your boat and you get your problems solved
Graham joined me for a relaxed one week sailing at Canaries. We had a good time together, he is humoruos well organized and shows a good commitment. I did not ask for any repairing, but he repaired evrything not working he found. Graham has a deep knowledge of all technical aspects of a boat. So Graham, thanks a lot for your support. Hans
