Cooking, Crewing and travellling the world!
Hi
I'm Anton and I bring culinary excellence and a love for the sea together in every journey. With a track record of working on yachts of all sizes, I am dedicated to creating unforgettable dining experiences tailored to the needs of guests and crew. I excel in provisioning and menu planning for long voyages while maintaining the highest hygiene standards. Outside the galley, I am an enthusiastic sailor eager to contribute to the smooth operation of the vessel.
Now I seek a permanent position where I can be part of a dedicated and harmonious crew.
On my voyage, I got more and more into sailing and boat life, especially the galley part as cooking for other people was always a pleasure for me. By now I have all necessary qualifications and started my yacht chef career on a 90 ft Sailing Yacht, continuing on various other yachts up to 200ft. On my travels, I always collected my favorite recipes from each country, so my cuisine stays interesting and new.
I'm an outgoing, open person, who likes cardgames, long chats, music, making music, scouting, camping and blue water! I grew up in northern Germany next to Baltic and Northern Sea. In June 2022 I could gather my first experiences sailing Turkey. In September and October 2022 I worked as professional Deckhand and Chef on a 78ft motoryacht, cruising from Cyprus to Italy. I helped as Cook and Deckhand on a 44ft Yacht crossing the Atlantic, delivered a 41ft racing yacht to Grenada and sailed from there to Colombia via Curaçao on a 44ft Catamaran, sailed as 1st Mate to Panama where I worked as full time chef on a beautiful 90ft Ketch from 1956
After that I sailed back eastward to the Dominican Republic where I worked as Chef/Deckhand on a 45ft Lagoon Catamaran.
In 2024 I worked on many different yachts as relief chef, for example a 110ft Trimaran running Dive Charters for up to 20 guests and 7 crew, a 200ft Motoryacht, a 180ft Sloop that joined the St Barths Bucket regatta and a 74ft Catamaran which I delivered from Miami to the Azores.
I'm a Scout since I am 6 years old. Therefore I learned knots, basic navigation and most importantly how to be a helping hand wherever there is a need for it.

Hardworking team
Anton and Angie joined me for a couple of weeks to help out with some repairs onboard. Anton is always motivated and can work independently. He is creative in the galley and came up with good meals every day. Nice lobster risotto! He was a big help on various other tasks - installing new throughholes, moving chainplates and stays, coming up with good solutions for different repairs. I wish both Anton and Angie all the best on their future trips and can recommend them as valuable and motivated crew members.
