Looking for racing, cruising, crewing, mile building, deliveries, passages or day sailing in NL & Europe
Ahoi sailors! I'm a Polish lady from the Netherlands where I have lived for the past 12 years, curious to explore the near and the far from the water. I'm a good crew, have some experience, and some licenses. Looking to crew in club races, on day or weekend trips in the Netherlands, 24h race, 8h race, winterwedstrijden (I have a car so can easily get almost anywhere from Leiden). Also interested in a week or two in North Europe or a passage to the Canaries / Azores, and Mediterranean, as well as on yacht deliveries for some hard core sailing. BIG DREAM: rounding of Iceland.
I'm sailing regularly open boats and dinghies, both single-handed and with crew, on Dutch great lakes since four years with hundreds hours logged, and regular club racing on yachts. In 2021 sailed 1200nm mostly offshore from the Netherlands to Portugal on an old 30ft sailboat with two other guys, day and night in 3hour singlehanded shifts. Solo sailed a Bavaria thirty-something single-handed for a week on Ijsselmeer, and skippered several times with inexperienced crew, including on tidal Zeeland. Rounded Mallorca with a racing crew of 6ppl before the plague, and cruised the south coast of England for a week including night watches. Also crewed on a private yacht around Greek islands for two weeks in 2020. I have RYA Coastal Skipper Tidal, Day Skipper license from the Dutch CWO 2, ICC (International Certificate of Competence) from RYA, VHF from RYA, Power Boat 2 from RYA, and CEVNI for inland waterways. I also have a small 4m canal cruiser with an outbord 'evenrooien' motor and seashepherd sticker on it covering the staggering power of 9,9hp. She has been extensively used for wild camping, and is called Nautis Ebrius for a reason ;-) Ik kan ook in het Nederlands zeilen. No romance.
