I like being on water, sailing people on traditional or modern ships or teaching them how to sail. I also do deliveries.
Hi, I am Steven from the Netherlands. I like to do deliveries (on request with crew) but I also enjoy very much to do charters with guests. I’ve been sailing since I was a kid. I learned a lot about sailing and maneuvering by working on traditional gaff riggers. They normally take more work than modern yachts but they proofed to be well designed and capable for al kind of seas.
Since 1991 I've been sailing at sea with guests for several companies mostly in the Mediterranean (please have a look at my CV for more detailed information)
and I have been commercially endorsed for 15 years as Captain Unlimited up to 500GT. This summer I got my commercial endorsement MCA RYA Yachtmaster Offshore Sail. I have an academic background (History). In 2000 I changed work to professional offshore sailing and als0 wooden boatbuilding.
