A great crew member
Laurens joined us onboard for a short cruise around the Galician Rias which will hopefully provide a foretaste of a longer voyage later this year and next. Also onboard was a previous Crewbay find who had spent the summer sailing with us around the Med. Laurens immediately settled in and rapidly integrated with us all. He is a real asset to any crew. He has a good sense of humour, turns his hand to any task, is not afraid of hard work and is nimble and capable on deck. He is equally adept in the galley and undaunted by the less glamorous, but necessary, chores of life at sea. His English is first class. Laurens has been a pleasure to sail with. He is thoroughly good fun to live and sail with and I hope will become one of our regular crew members for voyages long and short. I commend him to any skipper looking for a totally reliable, able and enthusiastic crew member.
