Looking for a sailing boat to go from Panamá to Colombia
Hi! My name is Inês and I’m a Portuguese 28 years old traveler. I'm looking for a sailing boat to go from Panamá to Colombia.
I'm already available. All I want is to learn how to sail, dive, meet great people and learn new skills. My dream, one day, is having my own sailing boat!
I have no experience on board but I promise you, the willingness to learn and dedication are not lacking. Plus I'm an Engineer, probably I'll be useful solving some problems :)
I would be super super happy if someone would just teach me how to sail and I would do the tasks like cooking, cleaning, keeping watch, whatever it will be needed to do! I don’t have much money, but I’d be more than happy to pay my fair share of the meals as well. We can negotiate this part of course.
I'm fluent in Portuguese, English and I can speak a bit of Spanish, I'm flexible, good humored and, of course, I’ll be respectful and polite. Also, I don't have food restrictions, I will adapt my diet according to rules on board.
As I told you, I'll be in a low budget travel so, that means I want to spend the less money as I can. This would be the challenge: LIVE WITH ALMOST NO MONEY :D
For me this means not eating at restaurants every day or hanging out in bars every night. Not that I don't like that part but a low budget travel requires some efforts. I'd rather replace these activities with adventures like hiking, camping and exploring nature. Also I don't expect the comfort of a marina every time we stop, actually I don't expect comfort at all, I expect different experiences and get some useful skills. Also, on shore I prefer walking, hitching or taking buses instead of taxis and enjoy the company of local people.
