Looking for a Captain position Sail or Motor. Full time or seasonal.
Hello,
I'm looking for a seasonal or permanent position as Captain in the Mediterranean, Middle East or US on a Sail or Motor Yacht.
I have 30 years’ experience as a professional Captain on yachts Motor and Sail up to 43m.
I have cruised most of the Mediterranean, UAE, Red Sea and 3 years on the East Coast USA cruising Florida Keys, Bahamas, New York, Rhode Island etc.
I was employed on the president of the UAE,S sons yacht Moonlight as Chief Officer touring the Mediterranean and spent time in Dubai.
I also have 5 years experience towing a 36ft tender behind a 108ft motor yacht.
I'm a hands on Captain I'm not afraid of physical work and like to lead by example.
I have an RYA Yacht Master Offshore Commercially endorsed 200T, STCW-95, ENG-1 and an Engineering ticket, I can do most maintenance and preventative maintenance jobs myself, I am knowledgeable with diesel engines, Generators, A/C units, Water makers, all heads and plumbing etc, I ran my own marine maintenance and yacht delivery business in New Zealand for 14 years before delivering a 82ft yacht from Auckland NZ to Cyprus in 2001 where I stayed on for one year, this was the start of my overseas career.
As you can see from my C.V I have proven longevity, honest and reliable, I do not smoke and have no tattoos, I am available immediately.
