Experienced Captain looking for new challenge
I am both experienced and qualified working as Captain, Mate, Bosun and Deckhand. I also have six years shipyard experience having worked for Sunseeker International as a boat builder and one year for the overseas warranty team. I have owned and sailed boats since the age of seven. I have no dependents and no ties and therefore have no restraints as to where I am based.
I am confident and extremely competent driving Mono hulls and Multi hulls both power and sail, along with Outboards, Inboards, Jet drives, double and treble Arneson drives, Sail drives and IPS (pod) drives.
I have RYA and Yachting Australia qualifications including: Commercially endorsed Yachtmaster Offshore 200 tonnes both power and sail, Coastal Skipper, Day Skipper, Competent Crew, MCA Applied Engine Course (AEC), Powerboat Level Two, AMC Radio Operator's Certificate, Senior First Aid, Advanced Sea Survival, ENG1, STCW95 (First Aid, Fire fighting, PSR, and Sea Survival) and PADI Open water.
I have worked on Yachts from 8 metres up to 49 metres as Captain, First Mate, Bosun and Deckhand. I am extremely familiar with the Med having been based there for the last five years. I have worked extensively in the Med/Europe, namely, France, UK, Spain, Italy, Corsica, Sardinia, Monaco, Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, Malta and Tunisia but also worked skippering Maxi Yachts over on both coasts of Australia and Qatar.
