I am looking for a job on a vessel as a Chef/Crew Chef.
I am looking for a position on a yacht/off shore vessel as a Chef/Crew chef. I am easy going, but, hard working, willing to help out in all areas when possible and very willing to learn anything new. I have various cooking qualifications, Ships Cook, Food Hygiene 11,RYA Dayskipper, PBL2, STCW 95, updated, Security Awareness and ENG 1.
I have 15+ years experience working as a chef on land in the UK and Europe and almost 10 years working short stints on various yachts. Most of my sea time has been spent working on Tall Ship Pelican of London, a sail training vessel. Catering, provisioning and planning for 47 crew and voyage crew crossing to the Caribbean and back to Europe. I have just finished a summer contract for St. Hilda Sea Adventures on Speideren, a former Dutch rescue boat, cooking for 8 guests and 3 crew, 6 to 10 day trips around the Scottish Islands.
