Experienced yachtmaster (sail & power) + kitesurfing/SCUBA instructor
After 10 years working on the water as a captain and instructor, I’ve built a solid skill set and the ability to adapt to a wide range of challenges.
I started out delivering sailing yachts for PYD, then worked as a charter skipper and mate on a catamaran in the U.S. and Caribbean. Wanting to expand my skills, I turned my hobbies into professional qualifications, becoming a kitesurfing and scuba instructor. That led to an incredible role as Captain/Instructor on Sir Richard Branson’s private island, where I spent three years working with him, his family, and guests. Most recently, I’ve been teaching watersports at a private members’ club in the Bahamas.
I’m now looking for my next opportunity—ideally as Mate on a larger sailing yacht or as Skipper on something under 70 feet. I want to keep learning, take on new challenges, and bring my experience to the right team.
