Fair winds never made a skilled sailor...
Hello fellow adventurers,
I am a fairly young woman who loves the sea and and all the land in between. Being well traveled has humbly granted me with versatility and strength. I aim to work on a boat for great pay, or great reward. Money buys opportunity, the barter system buys empiricism. There is always something to be gained from every experience.
I have quite a diverse skill-set. I have been an auto-mechanic for over ten years, marine mechanic for over 3, martial arts trained, And lastly university educated in financial as well as technical representation. I have driven most every type of outboard capable vessel. I have experience with inboard operations as well as IO’s and jet drive pwc. As for land, I have driven up to and (barely) beyond 6speeds, forklifts, and all terrain options. Finally, I admit many moons and rains of customer/guest tending and service in various fields throughout the industry (everything from wine savoir faire pairing with 3 star meals to serving bar drinks and fried cheese to ten hard drinkers at once while never writing a thing down). As you can see, I am a Jill of all trades. I aim for position of Bosun, however occupy more skills in mechanical/engineering as well as adventure entertainment and service. I currently work as a mechanic for a yacht dealership in Florida. I do all types of upgrades, maintenance and operation on center consoles and mid size yachts. I lived and worked on a charter sailboat in St Thomas for and a half. I have sailed from Montauk to Bermuda and all over the Caribbean. I’ve even been blessed with a journey through the Panama Canal on a beautiful 24m power cat.
My long term goals lay within exploration of history laying deep within the Caribbean sea. Until I have the proper resources and funding for such an excavation, I aim to gain as many years on the water as possible. I say again, experience is the most valuable currency known to life. I know the right boat and the right crew is looking for me, I'm looking for you too. :)
