I have sailed for ten years , it started with a learn to sail holiday we had in Croatia because my wife would not ski again after suffering a severe sking injury.The first trip we obtained our Competent Crew Cert and the next trip we obtained our ICC. Since then my wife and I charter in the Med every summer and I enjoy competing in regattas and races in the Caribbean . I am a farmer and contractor by trade, therefore very hands on, with basic electrical, plumbing and mechanical skills.For the last five years I have been crew on an Osprey, racing every week winter and summer. I have my own business therefore I can get away at short notice if needed,but only for 1 or 2 weeks at a time.My goal is to be able to do delivery work and crew on the ARC. Thats a long way off, for now I am looking to get more experience tidel and an ocean passage, if I am of interest to you please send me a message.
