Non reliable alcoholic

1

I planned to take John with me for 15 days, but asked him after nine days to leave the boat, because he was not reliable on his watches, missed his starting times and drank a lot of alcohol, although we agreed of not drinking alcohol while sailing. Some empty bottles, he drank alone, were hidden in his cabinet, when he left. Also as he couldn’t contribute, not in route planning, not in weather forecast, interested in nothing. Saying all of that an additional issue is his weight and size. With his maybe 130 - 150 kg , he is not capable of moving safe on a boat and would have been of danger in an emergency situation. He couldn’t even climb back to the ding hy, when he was out for swimming. I wouldn’t recommend to take him on a boat any more.
