Looking for a Novice Crew, Deckhand, Voluntary work or Mile building position
Hi there- I've just joined Crewbay. I am potentially open to a variety of opportunities. And I am pretty available and open-ended starting in August 2025, but could be ready sooner for the right adventure.
I want to sail the Mediterrenean- Italy is a top choice, but... Greece, Croatia, Spain, Portugal, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Alaska, Canada, PNW, Gulf Islands,,... all of these and more could be options for me.
I'd love to find other punks, weirdos, queers who are sailing? Get in touch. There are a couple of us in the Portland area that want to adventure.
I am an old punk, activist, queer, don't drink alcohol, and eat a fairly pescatarian diet (or humane animal products from small farms). I don't need my boat mates to match that, but it might be good to know. I value social justice, fun times, clear communication, and enjoying the awe of this world even when things seem so dumpster fire-ish. Let's get sailing!
