Looking for a Novice Crew position, Copenhagen - Lisbon, June-July 2025
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Novice Crew. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people for a ride from Copenhagen to Lisbon (or nearby) – June/July 2025
My name is Baptiste, I'm 24 years old and currently a French master's student in microbiology, doing an internship in Denmark. I'm working on soil microorganisms in an environmental research context.
I’ve always lived near the sea, studied in Brest (Brittany), and took part in several school sailing trips growing up. I’ve also done a bit of recreational sailing, though I’m clairly not an experienced sailor. I like to resolve problem if it's not a math problem. I'm looking to join a boat heading south from Copenhagen (or nearby) toward Portugal sometime between May and July 2025. I’m totally open to doing the trip in stages.
I'm calm, adaptable, and happy to help with whatever is needed onboard — watches, cooking, daily life. I’m not looking for comfort, but for a real crew experience where I can learn and contribute. I’m also happy to share basic expenses.
