Ahoy and Hello!
I'm Chris, 42 years old and primarily work as bathroom designer —combining skills as an Installer, Architect, and Business Administrator. I’m a proud member of the German Sailing Association (DSV) and hold qualifications as a Lifeguard (DRSA Silver), Medical Responder (DRK-CBA), Canyoneer (30 water canyons), UEFA-B certified Football Coach, and Systemic Coach (QRC).
As for bluewater capabilities, I’m perfectly at ease with wind and waves (having logged around 200 nautical miles so far) and am otherwise travel-experienced and adaptable (I've journeyed through 51 countries, including 28,000 km of thru-hiking).
I'm now eagerly seeking crewing opportunities for ocean crossings—Atlantic, Pacific, or Indian Oceans. (By the way, I’m currently working on completing my SBF Sea & Inland licenses as well as the SKS certification.)
By the way I’m based in the Southern Black Forest and Switzerland, and I speak German, Alemannic, Dutch, and English (B2 level) and am currently learning Brazilian Portuguese.
As a versatile and interdisciplinary person, I’m enthusiastic about ball sports, board games, world history, politics, psychology, and creatives like improvisational theater and modern art.
