Looking for a Captain or Deckhand position
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Captain or Deckhand. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people!
I am an experienced skipper on motor pleasure craft, with several years of experience in coastal and offshore navigation.
I have solid technical knowledge, leadership capacity and commitment to the safety and satisfaction of crew members and passengers.
Competencies:
Charter of Recreational Navigator as Patrão de Costa.
Experience in navigation with GPS, radar and other instruments on board, day and night.
Knowledge and application of the rules in force.
Crew management and leadership skills.
Preventive maintenance of vessels, guaranteed functionality and state of conservation
Academic Training:
Patrão de Costa course, by the Naval Club of Ponta Delgada, in 1999
Training in First Aid, by the Naval Club of Ponta Delgada, in 1999.
Training in Meteorology.
Training in Electronic Navigation.
Knowledge of maintenance in marine engines.
Knowledge in electricity (AC and CC).

Experience:
Nautical Transport from Italy (Adriatic and Mediterranean Sea) to Portugal since 2022 to the present.
Driving and transport of yachts of the brand Azimut, including models:
51 Fly, 53 Fly, S6, S7, 72 Fly, Magellano 66 and Magellano 25 Metri.
Navigation on international routes, with attention to safety, weather conditions and operational efficiency.
Experience in fiber and semi-rigid vessels between 18.5 and 50 feet, with installed power from 300 to 1000HP.
