Deckhand looking for opportunity to grow to Yachtmaster
Hello!
I'm Francesco, 33, and I'm interested in finding a position as a Deckhand.
I'm looking for a position that will allow me to gain experience and miles, while learning from awesome Captains and fellow crew members, meeting new people and visiting stunning places.
My objective is to ideally work my way up to Yachtmaster Offshore level, and get certified sometime in the fall of 2025/spring 2026. (Yachtmaster Shorebased course already completed).
I am open, communicative and very enthusiastic and passionate about sailing.
I enjoy a sporty lifestyle (skiing, tennis, windsurfing, swimming) but I can also enjoy a slow-paced life
In winter I manage a restaurant on the ski slopes in canton Valais and I am used to taking on responsibility and deliver on it.
My long-term goal is to acquire the necessary skills to one day sail my own boat around the world
