Hi, I'm looking for competent crew, mile building opportunity's and of course making new friends.
Hello there!
At the end of the summer 2025 I wil be an early retiree. From then on I wil be committed to live an adventerous life, gain a lot of sailing experience to eventually live aboard my own sailing vessel.
Having all the time in the world, it would be amazing to have the opportunity to be part of a crew.
Completed my RYA Day Skipper theoretical last winter and in March I earned my RYA Competent Crew here in the Netherlands. I will soon apply for the practical Day Skipper, but haven't set a date yet. In the mean time I'm waiting for my RYA SRC practical exam.
Did a little sailing and a lot of windsurfing when I was in my teens. I have PADI open water and have dived in the Red Sea, Azores and Bonaire.
I am tech and mech savvy. I enjoy solving problems, fabricating or fixing things.
I'm also tidy/organised, like to cook, can fish, respect hierarchy, unbiased, absolutely love nature and the wild and always in for a good laugh.
I have all my own offshore gear, jackets, salopette, boots and accessories.
If after reading my pitch you have any tips or advice helping me find a crew position, I would be very grateful.
Hope I sparked your interest and hope to hear from you!
