Competent Crew, Racing crew, Mile building or Sailing instructor position: Too cold now in Canada. Caribbean? Med?
I've sailed all my life, from little dinghies to crewing a Formosa51 in the Med, to mono and big cat bareboat charters in the Caribbean. Recently decided to level-up with RYA Coastal Skipper, heading towards YM. Have raced from Lasers to bigger keel-boats, multihulls, around buoys and distance races. Current boat is a Corsair F-31 trimaran (a rocketship!), but I will sail on any well-found boat given the right circumstances. A fit, fun, funny and serious sailor, currently looking for water in liquid, not solid form.
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering. Advanced ham license. I can understand and fix almost anything. Often without the right kit and tools, even. Improvisation is key. Speaking of improv, people tell me I can sing (including harmony) and I begin to believe them.
I am now (Doh!) widowed, retired, and thus can spring free on fairly short notice if something interesting pops up. Let me know what you have in mind!
