Looking for Atlantic crossing Delivery Crew position, Recreational or Professional
Hi Team, I'm currently seeking opportunities for an Atlantic crossing. Located in Las Palmas, happy to meet you elsewhere.
I have a wide variety of sailing experience, including coastal cruising the fjords and channels of British Columbia and Alaska to ocean passages in the North Pacific and Tasman Sea. I've sailed smaller high performance boats, larger heavy displacement boats and enjoy it all. I can work the foredeck, trim and reef early for good sail balance, and steer the boat in a heavy sea.
I have commercial crew credentials for work in Canada including advanced wilderness first aid. I work on 68-84ft sailing vessels as mate in the adventure tourism industry in British Columbia and would like to continue building ocean miles and spend some time in the Atlantic!
I grew up sailing/racing 420s in Montréal where I grew up, then starting sailing keel boats in my early 20s.
Lately, I've been preparing my Bruce Roberts 29 sloop for Ocean sailing and excited to create as many opportunities to gain more open ocean experience and learn from great skippers.
