Inland skipper license, firefighter/EMT, and just a nice guy- looking for crewing opportunities to gain more experience.
Hello out there! I recently received my Inland Skipper license and am looking for crewing opportunities to gain more sailing experience. I work as a firefighter and decided a few years ago to give up the city firefighting job and, instead, to contract in different parts of the world. I have been in Europe for the last 3 years and am in-between position right now. So, I thought I'd try to crew for a few months. I am an avid outdoorsmen with about 10 years experience rock climbing and 5 years experience white water kayaking. I have been sailing a little at a time for the last 10 years and recently took the courses for my Inland Skipper's license. In short, I love being outside, I love adventure, and believe I'd be a valuable team member on any ship. Hope we can chat more.
