Looking for Competent Crew or Voluntary work position for Atlantic Crossing
I'm currently on a big world trip walking around the world from the UK and I'm looking to use my Competent Crew skills to hitch a ride across the Atlantic this month (October-November 2024).
I used to work in radio as a sound engineer but I quit my job to go on a big adventure and travel the world. I'm a relatively green sailor, however I have experience on a classic sailing boat called Grayhound volunteering as crew for 200 miles from the UK to France this summer (2024) and also I completed my Competent Crew qualification on the Solent last year.
I'm easy to get on with and enjoy cooking and meeting new people and also handy with electrics.
