Looking for a delivery Mile building or Competent Crew position
My name is Patrick, I'm 56 years old, I live in the southeast of France and I'm looking for sailing opportunities. I can help with night watches , sail trimming, overall navigation, cooking, and being a nice, attentive and talkative person. I have experience as a crew member, co-skipper, and skipper on sailboats and catamarans (mostly 40 to 55 ft boats) in the Caribbean, Thaïlande and Greece. I also completed several deliveries on 35. 42 and 44 boats crisscrossing the med from Sicily to Barcelona. I hold an offshore boating license and regularly rent sailboats. For theoretical training, I completed two courses in 2023 with ACM Catamarans, each a week-long on a Lagoon 38 (FFV level 3), to safely handle large catamarans. I left France 20 years ago for the United States, and we returned 3 years ago. Engineer, I work from home, the kids have moved out, which gives me availability. I'm a non-smoker and athletic. Personally, I'm quite happy; life has been pretty kind to me thanks to a lot of hard work, and everything is easier when you find the positive in every situation. Finally I'm a no stress no drama type of person. What I'm looking for is to modestly try to help people have a good time, whether it is for a crossing, or being an attentive ear or hand for a specific navigation and make friends in the process. I'm not doing this to get paid or to buy a seat in a cruise with someone who is already a pro and wants to get money out of his vacation.
