Looking for Skipper/ 1st Mate Positions
My name is Adam Surmon-Bohr. I am looking for Skipper or First Mate/Engineer positions, temporary, permanent or delivery.
I hold a YachtMaster Offshore (STCW/Commercially Endorsed) & Electro-Technical Officer CoC with full STCW certification and ENG 1 medical. I also hold a UK passport & B1/B2 Visa.
From 2021- present I have been working in the yachting industry with the A programme (S/Y A & M/Y A), and project 1601 (M/Y Norn), including the last year of build and the 1st year of operations. From 2015-2021 I was working as the ships electrical engineer (ETO) for BP, on their oil & gas carrier ships.
Between 2019-2024 I owned a 12m sailing catamaran which I refit, maintained and lived on during my periods of leave as an ETO.
