Raja Ampat to Banda neira
Hi, we have one spot avaliable on my boat Windarra, sailing from Sorong in Raja Ampat to Banda Neira. You will be joining me, Olly, and my girlfriend, Sophie. We are both waterbabies and expect to scuba and freedive whenever possible. There's a compressor on board and full gear, so would prefer someone who likes getting wet too- we will also explore on land whenever possible. We are aiming to leave Sorong around the 7th March and the spot is avaliable for around 4 weeks weeks. You will have the forward cabin and the forward head to yourself. You will be expected to stand watches (no experience necessary, we can teach you) and get involved in all aspect of running the boat, this includes cooking and cleaning. If you are interested and would like to know more about the trip and the costs drop me a dm.
The driver for this trip is to see as many of the reef systems of the world as possible, and given Indo has the best coral and marine life in the world we will be spending a fair amount of time underwater, so divers/freedivers are preffered, but its not a deal breaker as long as you are happy driving the dinghy while the rest of us go and blow bubbles. I have a dive compressor on board and one spare set of gear, you are welcome to bring your own if you have it. We will also take any opportunity to explore and experience the different cultures as we pass through the islands.
Im looking for people who want an adventure and are happy being at anchor and exploring away from towns (thats not to say we won't return to civilisation for food, fuel and a couple of beers though .) The areas we will be going to are remote so you need to be able to occupy yourself without the aid of an internet connection.
Sailing experience is not important but you need to have a willingness to learn and desire to get stuck in. All crew will get involved in cooking, cleaning and maintenance equally (its not all a sunbaked palm fringed beach holiday) and holding watches.
Drop me a message if you are interested and we can discuss the details.

Amazing !!
I joined Windy in Indonesia, it was one of my first experience sailing and I think I couldn’t have find better ! Oly is a great skipper, looking after his crew and the boat, he was really nice and patient, he always answered my question and he thought me so much. I felt very safe sailing on Windarra and the food was amazing as well. I have the heart full of great memories and I think that experience was the highlight of my travels in South east Asia I highly recommend !!
