Leisurely sail Sardinia - Tunesia - Sicily - Greece. Mid Apr'25 - end May ... and discover much along the way

My 2022 Beneteau 51.1 can't wait to sail again after the winter break. She is in Sardinia now.

The planned route is via Tunesia (multi-day stop to explore Tunis and beyond) then Sicily, Malta ultimately Greece.

Timing: Set sail around 12.April'25.
In the week+ before we would do all safety checks, shakedown and provisioning.
Crew should be able to join for the complete 6-7 weeks.

This trip is not about racing or tough performance sailing.
Cruise, enjoy, chat and also check out the beaches and interesting sites and sounds along the way.
It's a journey that shall be fun, full of discoveries and safe.

I am looking for 1 or 2 crew to join and enjoy the experience.
Ideally you have done a trip like this before and come with some blue-water background. Social, easy going and non-ego driven creatures would fit best to the spirit of the ship and the journey. Non-smoking is preferred.

Cost contribution would be EUR 150 a week.
I will carry all boat-related expenses such as fuel and marinas. Excursions on a shared basis.

Best boat to be on

I've been on many boats, sailed lots of miles and met loads of sailors, but sailing on Julimar was honestly one of the best experiences ever. A pleasure and a privilege to be on such a beautiful and well kept yacht and meeting such fun, intersting and perfect crew. Great mix of sailing, discovering, sightseeing, interesting conversations and a lot of laughter, very easy going and comfortable ambiance. and ...great food! I can't thank you enough for having me on board .... looking forward to seeing you again.

I could call Julimar home for about 3 weeks sailing. Starting with a very warm welcome and a well selected crew it was a very pleasant trip right from the beginning. The trip was just as described - a nice mix of sailing and sight seeing on land without time pressure allowing to wait for the right weather. Tasks are equally shared and Andreas is very open to discuss suggestions on the different topics of sailing. The boat is as new, equipped with all living amenities you can imagine on a private owners boat and maintained to perfection. I'd come back to this trip at any time!

My time aboard Julimar was filled with delicious food, ample land explorations, lots of laughs, and plenty of fun. Andreas and his wife welcomed me like family from the moment I set foot on their beautiful sailboat. The skipper did not hesitate to hand over the helm as we shared all duties each day and we always discussed and collaborated on the sailing decisions. My duties beyond sailing were to help with cleaning and maintaining the boat and washing the dishes. This is a safe and clean boat, well cared for, nearly every amenity you could want - solar, generator, air con, water maker, safety equipment - with wonderful owners that I highly recommend if you ever get an invitation to share their floating home with them. Thank you for an awesome coastal sailing experience!
