Captain - Temporary / Seasonal - $4500 - General (Caribbean)
We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Head Captain/Dock Manager to join our tight-knit team of 6 in a dynamic, nature-focused marine tourism business. If you’re a seasoned boat captain with a deep respect for the ocean and a proven track record in marine tourism, this is your dream job.
We are looking for someone 40 and younger, as we are all a young group ranging from 37 to 21 in our team of 6.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Serve as lead captain across our diverse fleet:
35ft Grady White
Two 30ft Custom Motor Catamarans
41ft Sailing Catamaran
Manage maintenance schedules for all vessels
Oversee boat prep, weekly restocking, and organize crew for cleaning and upkeep
Collaborate closely with the owner/manager and lead the on-the-ground dock operations
Adapt between vessels and lead charters with professionalism and enthusiasm
What We’re Looking For:
-Minimum 5 years in the tourism/marine industry
-Strong skills as an outboard engine mechanic
-Preferred: Certified Divemaster or Dive Instructor
-Sailing experience is a plus, but not required
-A genuine love of the ocean and a commitment to preserving nature
-Leadership skills and ability to manage a team with a positive, hands-on approach
