Day sailing/social racing/regattas at Redcliffe Brisbane Qld

Learn to sail, or just come along to enjoy a day on the water, for Saturday and Wednesdays social racing, to gain experience,, build up your sea miles , learn a bit about sailing, and have a fun relaxed afternoon out on Moreton Bay Queensland.

38' Catamaran, sails/races weekly, on Moreton Bay.
Regular WAGS and SAGS sracing each week.
Ideally you are based in Brisbane Northern areas, not too far from the Redcliffe area.


Novice/beginner are welcome, have taught many, the basics of sailing, have assisted some to evenbuy their own boat to start their own adventure.

Sailed with Jason a lot. He knows his yachts and is very accomodating to providing advice and a great instructor for both racing and cruising. Highly recommended.

Such a good opportunity

I took part in sags with no prior yacht experience and had the most amazing day. Jason was so welcoming onto his boat and took his time to explain things about the boat to me which I’ve never heard of and now come away with a good understanding. I was allowed at the helm for some experience which was amazing. I’m sad I won’t have chance to sail on Jason’s boat again because it’s a lovely boat and in a great sailing area. I’ve definitely been inspired to take up more sailing opportunities now! Thankyou

Delivery - Hamilton island & competing in Race Week

August 2023 - As novice crew, we were welcomed aboard Pali Pali by Captain Jason & one other competent crew member. Pali Pali is docked in Deception Bay, Brisbane, Queensland area. Our journey included a dozen overnight anchorages along the Queensland coast, prior to arrival at Hamilton Island Race Week. We boarded on the Western coast of K’gari/Fraser Is. Jason’s lovely wife Karen provisioned and organised the boat perfectly, as our island life limited our ability to do this. We felt very comfortable with Jason and his skills and knowledge as our Captain. Jason took the opportunity to share his knowledge throughout our journey. His planning for weather conditions and comfortable overnight anchorages made for an enjoyable trip, peppered with adventures of land/island excursions that we will always treasure. This culminated in participating in Hamilton Island Race week. Pali Pali placed 4th overall in its division of 17 boats, with a total of 180 competitors. All very exhilarating both on water and land events for the week. We are forever grateful to Jason for our first crewing position, and first open water sail experience on a catamaran. Thank you Jason & Karen
